Meet Summer!
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC015010) in Georgia with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. With four years of experience working with individuals, I’m passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges. Helping clients see themselves and their lives in different ways, and providing the space and guidance they need to navigate the changes they want to see, has become my passion. My desire to help others stems from my own journey of learning to find my voice, and I bring that empathy and understanding into every session. Growing up, I was a quiet observer, which allowed me to develop strong listening skills and a keen attention to detail—skills I now use every day in my practice.
Beyond my title, I’m simply a friendly, compassionate, and open-minded person. As an introvert, I thrive in smaller, more intimate settings, and I value my alone time—it’s something I definitely need to recharge. While I enjoy keeping things light, I’m also deeply aware that therapy can sometimes get heavy, and I fully welcome that depth. My goal is to be gently honest and optimistic, all while staying grounded in reality. Along the way, I’ve come to realize what a true honor it is to sit with clients in the therapy room and become a part of their journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, trying new recipes, watching movies and TV shows, adult coloring, and I’m getting back into reading for fun. (Audiobooks for the win!) I love discovering new stories, both in and out of the therapy room.
